Favourite Scenes from
Bronze
Book 1
- Koji tries to cook dinner
for Izumi (who's in bed with a fever), even though he's never been
near a kitchen before. He ends up not only burning the food, but also
manages to set fire to his hair.
Book 2
- I can't pin down any particular
moments, but I did enjoy the scenes with the newly-arrived goalkeeper
of Izumi's soccer team - the dark and cool-eyed Kunihide. Koji is
right to be jealous. ^_^
Book 3
Lots of lovely moments in this
book...
- Koji picks up a wounded
Izumi in his arms and carries him down the street. Izumi is horrified
that someone might see them, and buries his face against Koji's chest.
Then he realises this means he's snuggling up against Koji, and his
face turns bright red. (And Koji, very cutely, is blushing too!)
- Izumi thinks he'll buy
some new clothes for Koji. He goes into a Gianni Versace outlet (!)
because he remembers Koji wearing this brand. Then he looks at the
price tag, and nearly dies on the spot.
- Koji and Izumi are watching
tv when there's a news bulletin about the reporters Izumi assaulted.
The newsreader says the identity of the assailant is unknown, but
he was probably a member of Koji's horde of fans. Koji starts laughing,
while Izumi furiously denies anything of the sort.
- Izumi turns up at Koji's
workplace, and gets mobbed by all the women there. Then Koji snatches
him away protectively (aww!). "Stop groping my Izumi! He's a very
pure-hearted boy - he's never even touched a woman!" After a moment,
the women start giggling in delight, while Izumi looks outraged.
